We are hosting a clinic next week for all students who returned the consent form. If you have not returned the form and would like your child to participate, please return the form on Monday.

The Nation's Vision process is a 3-stage comprehensive eyecare service:

Phase 1 - The ophthalmic technicians and teleophthalmologist assess students, obtaining pertinent clinical history and performing comprehensive examinations as part of a screening process to identify patients in need of further evaluation by an optometrist or specialist. We screen 40 to 60 students a day.

Phase 2 - Optometrists or specialists will then come to the school and complete the eye exams onsite. Students requiring glasses will be offered the chance to pick out glasses. Typically, 12 to 20 students are assessed per day depending on complexity.

Phase 3 - Opticians return to the school and customize the glasses for each student.
