École Chinook Park School French Immersion Kindergarten/Grade 1 Information Night Thursday, January 11, 2024 – 6:00-7:30 pm.

If you would like to consider registering your kindergarten or first grade child in the French Immersion program for the 2024-25 school year, and Chinook Park is your designated French Immersion School, we are excited to invite you to our information night where you will:

• Learn about the French Immersion program and if it would be a good fit for your child.
• Have a tour of the school
• Meet with the school’s administrators to have all of your questions answered.

Enrolment Requirements

Children can start kindergarten in the fall of 2024 if they turn 5 years of age on or before December 31, 2024. If the child is six years of age or older on September 1, 2024, they must register in grade 1.

Language Skills

There are no requirements for students or families to have had prior exposure to French in order to register for kindergarten or grade 1 French Immersion.
