Woodman School Council is excited to present Dr. Sarah Eaton from the Werklund School of Education (U of C) on the evening of Monday May 13 at 6pm, both in person and online (join the presentation).
This presentation will delve into the broad ethical and practical implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for education. Teaching, learning, and assessing have become increasingly complex with the emergence of generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) apps and tools that students can access freely or at a low cost. In this talk, Dr. Eaton provides insights into how Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT and similar apps are impacting education. Dr. Eaton will share insights from a recent research project she is leading at the Werklund School of Education.
