You're Invited: Welcome to École Chinook Park School!

We’re thrilled to welcome all new families to École Chinook Park School! Whether your child is starting Kindergarten or joining us in Grades 1–6, we can’t wait to meet you and help your family feel at home in our school community.

Kindergarten Families

Your evening will begin in the school gym at 6:00 pm with a welcome from our staff and administration. After a short introduction, our newest little learners will head off to explore their Kindergarten classrooms and try out fun activity centres—just like the ones they’ll experience next year! This is a great opportunity for children to meet their teachers and get comfortable in their new learning space.

Meanwhile, parents will remain in the gym for a short presentation, a Q&A session, and helpful information about the upcoming school year.

New Families in Grades 1–6

Families with children joining us in Grades 1–6 will begin the evening in the Learning Commons at 6:00 pm, where they’ll enjoy a welcome from the school leadership team. You’ll hear about what makes Chinook Park a vibrant and caring learning community, followed by a tour of the school and time to connect with staff and ask questions.

This evening is always a highlight for our team—and we hope it will be a memorable moment for your family, too! If possible, we kindly encourage families to make alternate arrangements for siblings so that this evening can be a special time for your new student and parent(s) to enjoy together.
