École Chinook Park School French Immersion Kindergarten/Grade 1 Information Night

Thursday, January 15, 2026 – 6:00-7:30 pm.

If Chinook Park is your designated school and are considering French Immersion for Kindergarten or Grade 1, we are excited to invite you to our information night where you will:

  • Learn about the French Immersion program and if it would be a good fit for your child.
  • Have a tour of the school.
  • Meet with the school’s administrators to have all of your questions answered.

Enrollment Requirements

Children can start kindergarten in the fall of 2026 if they turn 5 years of age on or before December 31, 2026. If the child is six years of age or older on September 1, 2026, they must register in grade 1.

Language Skills

There are no requirements for students or families to have had prior exposure to French in order to register for kindergarten or grade 1 French Immersion. Please check the CBE website to determine your designated French Immersion School.
