Happy Friday! 

With only 2 weeks left, we are starting to wrap up learning for this school year. Students are busily finishing projects, working with buddy classes, enjoying more time in outdoor learning activities and preparing for year-end celebrations. 

Please take a few minutes to tend to these housekeeping items: 

• Return all library and classroom books 
• Check the lost and found for any missing items 

This week and next, the school leadership team is visiting classrooms to remind students of expected behaviours as we enter these final days of school. Times of transition can be challenging for some students to navigate, and we are emphasizing kindness and patience as we approach the summer break. We have also spoken with the classes who will not be able to have swimming lessons due to the City water main break. Teachers are working to plan some fun activities in lieu of swimming, such as community walks or visits to nearby playgrounds in lieu of swimming. We are not able to organize alternate field trips in this short time frame. 

Thank you to the families who spent Thursday evening working in the courtyard to have it ready for our grade six celebration! There was much weeding, spreading several bags of mulch and soil to make the space beautiful – we are very grateful! The work in the courtyard is complete for this year! 

Sports Day – June 25  

We are having our annual Sports Day on June 25 from 8:45– 11:30 A.M.  

We need several more volunteers for this event to run smoothly and be a success. Please check out our sign-up genius for amazing volunteer opportunities!

School Bus Registration 

For families accessing CBE Transportation (yellow school bus), pre-registration is available in your MyCBE account.  

Families must register their children by Sunday, June 16tfor students to be added to routes for the start of the next school year. Click here for more information.
