Bon Vendredi! Happy Friday! 

We hope everyone had a restful and refreshing Spring Break! It looks like winter isn’t quite done with us yet, but the fresh snow has made for some fun outdoor play this week. 

It’s been a fun start back with two exciting field trips—Ms. Craig and Ms. Jocson’s classes explored the past at Heritage Park, while M. Mathieu’s Grade 6 students took a journey into space at the Rothney Observatory. 

We’re also looking forward to our third Wellness and Options Friday this week. A big thank you to Jenn Yee for her engaging presentation to our younger learners on oral hygiene! 

Grade 5-6 Outdoor Education Field Trip

Field trip forms for Camp Chief Hector went home this week and must be signed and returned by Monday. Please ensure your child’s form is submitted on time.

Community Activity – Chess Classes 

A parent from our community is offering chess classes for children aged 5-12 years old. Some of these sessions are happening right next to our school at the CKE Community Centre!

Chinook Park School Council is organizing an Appreciation Potluck to celebrate the final stretch of the current school year! This lunch will be served to Chinook Park staff on Friday, April 11 at noon. If you would like to contribute to the event, please feel free to sign up here.
