Bon vendredi,

Happy Friday,

Despite the chilly temperatures this week, our students brought wonderful energy and enthusiasm to each day. On cold days, students rotated through different options to stay active as much as possible, including spending time in the activity room and learning commons. The extra time indoors also gave us the perfect excuse to cheer on our favorite athletes during the Olympics, adding a fun burst of excitement to our week together.

As we look ahead, a quick reminder that report cards will be available on Tuesday and can be accessed through your MyCBE account. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to their classroom teacher. Email continues to be the preferred method of communication, and our team is always happy to connect.

Pink Shirt Day

We’re excited to participate in Pink Shirt Day on Wednesday! We’ll start the morning with a short assembly for students, and we’ll be taking photos to share in our weekly message. Students and staff are encouraged to wear pink as we continue to promote kindness and caring in our school.

Gymnastic Unit

As we continue with our gymnastics unit in the gym for the next two weeks, we remind families, to help your child dress appropriately for the activity.

  • Comfortable bottoms which allow for easy movement. Leggings, tights (no feet) or sweatpants are ideal. Please avoid jeans or other pants with pockets, belt loops, and zippers, as these items can catch on equipment.
  • Hair: Please ensure long hair is tied back with an elastic.
  • Jewelry: keep jewelry at home. Students will be asked to remove jewelry and watches prior to participating in this activity.
