AND THAT’S A WRAP! A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Lucas and Ms. Sara, the incredible Rhythm, Rhythm, Rhythm team, for an unforgettable three-week drumming residency and two phenomenal days of drum circles. Our students embraced every moment of these workshops with enthusiasm and energy—they truly discovered their rhythm! 

Please ensure your children are dressed appropriately for the cold weather, including warm footwear, snow pants, mittens, a toque, a neck warmer, and a winter jacket. If you require assistance obtaining warm winter clothing, please don't hesitate to reach out to the office. On days when it’s too cold to go outside, we’ve implemented an indoor rotation schedule to give students opportunities to move, play, and burn off energy!

Wellness Fridays – Volunteers Needed 

We are seeking parent volunteers to support our Wellness Fridays initiatives for Grade 1-3 French Immersion and Grade 1-4 English students. A big thank you to those who have already reached out—we’ll be in touch soon! 

We’re looking for volunteers to deliver two 45-minute presentations or workshops. Here are specifics: 

• Dates: February 21, March 7, April 4, and May 9. 
• Times: 8:10-8:55 and 9:00-9:45. 
• Groups: 50-80 students in the gymnasium or 40 student workshops (teachers will be present).

Report Cards 

Report cards will be available on January 27 through your MyCBE account. Please follow the link below for login information if needed.  

Students will receive indicators for all subjects, accompanied by comments that follow a standardized format used across the Calgary Board of Education. These comments are designed to highlight areas of strength and growth, offering a clear snapshot of your child’s progress at this point in the year. Please note that this is a new format for comments, and we encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or need further clarification.

Parents of Grade 6 students are forming a committee to plan this year’s Grade 6 celebration. If you’re interested in participating, please sign up on this form. 

In past years, the committee and school have collaborated to create a fun and memorable celebration for students, all while keeping the planning simple and expectations manageable for families. Thank you for supporting this important event for our grade 6s!
