Bon Vendredi!

Happy Friday!

It has been a busy and exciting week at Chinook Park! Our Grade 6 students are in the midst of their Provincial Achievement Tests, and we are proud of the focus, perseverance, and preparation they have shown. We wish them continued confidence as they complete their assessments.

We also had a wonderful turnout for our orientation evening, where we had the pleasure of welcoming our incoming Kindergarten and Grade 1 families. It was a joyful opportunity to connect with new students and parents, and to begin building the strong sense of community that makes our school so special.

With the arrival of the warmer weather, our students have been making the most of their time outdoors. This time of year always brings a sense of energy and anticipation, as we look ahead to a number of upcoming field trips and end-of-year events.

Thank you for your continued support as we move into this busy and celebratory time of the school year!

We Want Your Input!

We are excited to share a selection of logo design options for our September school apparel, created by our talented Artist in Residence, Natalia Ionescu. We would love to hear what you think!

Class Lists

In the upcoming weeks, students will have an opportunity to share their perspectives on classmates they feel they work well with. This student voice is an important part of our thoughtful and balanced class placement process. Teachers guide these conversations carefully, helping students reflect on positive learning relationships and make respectful, productive choices.

Parents/guardians are welcome to share any academic considerations that may support their child’s learning, if needed. Please email the principal, Mr. Comeau, by June 15 if you would like to provide input.

Thank you for your continued support and collaboration!

Lost and Found

We encourage you to stop by our Lost and Found before Thursday, June 25 to take a look for any missing items. After this date, all remaining items will be donated to Goodwill. Items labeled with student names will be returned to students whenever possible.
