Bon Vendredi! Happy Friday! 

As we wrap up the last week before Spring Break, we want to take a moment to reflect on some highlights. Mois de la Francophonie has come to an end, and it was wonderful to see our students engage in so many fun and meaningful activities throughout the month. Thank you to everyone who helped make it a success! 

We also enjoyed connecting with families during Parent-Teacher Interviews over the past two days. While we always appreciate these conversations, we recognize that meeting virtually wasn’t ideal for everyone. We appreciate your flexibility and engagement. 

On another note, the CUPE job action has ended, and we are happy to welcome back our caretaker, Mr. Gurevitch, to our school community! 

We wish all our students and families a fun, restful, and well-deserved Spring Break. We look forward to seeing everyone back on March 31^st! 

Community Activity – Chess Classes 

A parent from our community is offering chess classes for children aged 5-12 years old. Some of these sessions are happening right next to our school at the CKE Community Centre!

Grades 5-6 Outdoor Education – Camp Chief Hector

Staff Appreciation Potluck 

Chinook Park School Council is organizing an Appreciation Potluck to celebrate the final stretch of the current school year! This lunch will be served to Chinook Park staff on Friday, April 11 at noon. If you would like to contribute to the event, please feel free to sign up here. A friendly reminder to please mark any dishes to be returned with a student name and classroom number. Thank you for your support.

With activities resuming after school hours, the school dance has been rescheduled for April 17th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
