Bon Vendredi!
Happy Friday!
We’ve been enjoying some beautiful weather this week, which has create great energy across the school. Our Grade 4/5 French students had a fun and engaging science workshop with Ecocooks, and many students and staff got into the spirit of things by dressing up for 80s Day on Wednesday. There were some pretty rad outfits out there!
We also want to congratulate our Grade 6 French students on successfully completing their first Provincial Achievement Test this week. Great work!
Don’t forget to bring your bottles to support our grade 6 bottle drive tomorrow!
Grade 6 Provincial Achievement Tests
Next week we are continuing with Provincial Achievement Tests for our Grade 6 students, with English Language and Literature Part A. This is happening Monday, May 25 at 9:00 a.m. We wish all of our Grade 6 students the very best as they showcase their learning and hard work. We will also be reminding all students to keep hallways extra quiet during the testing period to support a focused and calm environment.
Kindergarten & New Grade 1 Welcome Night
We’re looking forward to welcoming our newest Chinook Park families! If your child is registered for Kindergarten or NEW to Grade 1 for the 2026–27 school year, we invite you to join us for our upcoming Welcome Night on June 4th. This evening will give families a chance to meet staff, explore the school, and learn more about the exciting year ahead.
Correction: Last week we said this was for all new families, however we are welcoming students who are new to Chinook Park or did not attend kindergarten. New families that would like to see the school are welcome to countact our main office for a Friday morning tour.
