Happy Friday, 

We hope you all had a fall break and subsequent short week! With the 2 days back we have continued to transition to work and routines. We want to commend all students for the excellent job they did during our final fire drill of the semester Thursday! Our next safety practice will be a lockdown drill before winter break. Also, our student patrollers began their duties this week, and we appreciate their leadership and commitment to keeping our crosswalk safe! 

Parent Teacher Conferences 

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be on Thursday, Nov. 27, from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm and Friday, Nov. 28, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The School Conference Manager opens for booking on Thursday, November 20 at 8 am.  Please access it through your MyCBE 

Photo retakes 

Photo retakes are scheduled for November 26. Students who would like a new photo or who missed the original picture day are welcome to participate. 

Grade 6 Immunizations

Please note that Grade 6 immunizations have been rescheduled to Thursday, December 12th. Public Health Nurses will be at the school on that day to administer vaccines for students whose families have returned the consent form. 

Apparel Store – Last weekend! 

This fall we have NEW, fun exciting colours and accessories! Don’t wait! These items will not be available again in the Spring. The Chinook Park school apparel store will remain open until November 16^th. 

The orders from September will begin to be delivered on the week of the 17th. Any new orders will be a few weeks later.

Next School Council Meeting

Our next School Council meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 27 from 6:30–8:00 PM in the school library and online. Everyone is welcome. It’s a great way to stay connected and involved in what’s happening at École Chinook Park School!
