Another school year has begun! Welcome back ECPS students and families!

Et c’est parti pour une nouvelle année scolaire! Bienvenue aux élèves et familles d’ECPS!

As we begin a new school year, we wanted to let you know that the first few days at Chinook Park were smooth! It was great to meet with all our families on Thursday! As our school population is growing, we noticed some congestion in certain meeting areas. We’re taking notes for next year.

The energy in our hallways, classrooms and on the field is positive, as usual. We’d like to express a big shout out to our staff who have worked very hard to prepare for a successful first week!

A reminder that there is no school on Monday September 2 due to the Labour Day holiday.

Chinook Park Values

At École Chinook Park School we share common values for success. Last year, we gathered feedback from students, the community and staff and developed a set of 4 simple values for our school. Each of these values connect to information, processes and expectations in our School. We will refer to them throughout the year and link them to information that will regularly be updated on our website. We will share more information in the future but in the meantime we can share posters of our 4 values below.

Please expect busing delays during September.

Additionally, please verify the following in your Power School Parent Portal:

  1. Your child is registered for bussing (last year's information is NOT carried over).
  2. Addresses and contact information are correct, including am/pm route or daycare.
  3. Verify your child’s bus letter and stop, as the routes change yearly.
  4. If you recently applied or made changes, check the EFFECTIVE DATE of route changes.
