Bon Vendredi! Happy Friday!
We wrapped up another great week at Chinook Park. A big thank you to all families for completing our planning survey online or on paper! We are happy to have received responses from the vast majority of our community, and your input is helpful in the planning for the upcoming school year.
Culture Day on Wednesday brought many smiles as students shared stories, clothing, and items that represent their backgrounds. It was a lovely opportunity to learn more about one another. Thank you as well to our wonderful parent volunteers for organizing hot lunch on that day! Finaly, thank you to the staff and volunteers who supported our Grade 1-2 English classes on their Weaselhead field trip this Friday: what a fun way to end the week!
Grade 6 Provincial Achievement Tests
Next week marks the beginning of Provincial Achievement Tests for our Grade 6 students, with the ELAL Part A written component taking place on Wednesday, May 28 at 9:00 a.m. We wish all of our Grade 6 students the very best as they showcase their learning and hard work! As always, we’ll be reminding all students to keep hallways extra quiet during the testing period to help create the best possible environment for focus and success.
Kindergarten & New Student Welcome Night
We’re looking forward to welcoming our newest Chinook Park families! If your child is registered for Kindergarten or is new to our school for the 2025–26 school year, we invite you to join us for our upcoming Welcome Night on May 29.
